McIntosh Hall sits a 2-minute walk from the 18th green of the world-famous Old Golf Course. The building is a Victorian structure in central St Andrews, within a 5-minute walk of the bus station, town centre shops, cafes, and restaurants. Rooms on the upper floors offer views over West Sands beach, the location used for the opening scenes of the film Chariots of Fire.
